Thanks to you, Tuscany Now has been nominated for The Independent Travel Awards, a prestigious collection of awards that aim to celebrate travel providers that offer exceptional experiences. It’s like the Oscars but for travel companies and it means a lot to us. It’s enough that we were nominated in the Place to Stay – Luxury category but we would still really appreciate your vote!
The awards are based solely on the nominations and votes of readers. All you need to do is register and fill in the nomination form available here by the 14th September 2015 under the category, Place to Stay – Luxury.
Each participant is automatically entered into a competition to win four nights at Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve, three nights at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, return flights London Heathrow to Cape Town and internal return flights from Cape Town to Johannesburg, plus tickets to the awards ceremony at the Corinthia Hotel London. Four runners-up will also receive tickets to the awards.
Thanks for helping us out,

Casa del Poggio
The house’s location at the edge of San Gemini, a lively hilltop village steeped in history, provides direct access to shops and restaurants through the front garden.
Situated at the eastern edge of the Chianti wine-producing area, and midway between Florence and Arezzo, the property could not be better designed and located for a holiday that combines lazy days of dolce ‘far niente’ with sightseeing in some of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany.
Villa di Petroio
The elegant 12th century Villa sits on hillside blessed by stunning views of the rich hills near Ruffina, a famous Chianti region near to Florence. The owners of Villa Di Petroio have found the perfect balance between the modern and the traditional. Every salvageable feature of the original building has been preserved and incorporated into an exceptionally tasteful design that offers all the practical benefits of an entirely new building.
